Hunt for young talents at grassroot level: Aboro of ibese urges government, NFF, award cash prices at football competition

HUNT FOR YOUNG TALENTS AT GRASSROOT LEVEL: ABORO OF IBESE URGES GOVERNMENT, NFF, AWARD CASH PRICES AT FOOTBALL COMPETITION

As part of his mission to discovering young talents, the Aboro of Ibese, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III has advised indigenes of Ibese, Yewa Land to start developing more interest in sporting activities in the kingdom as part of the means to contributing to the growth and development of all the communities/villages under Ibese Land.

Oba Rotimi Mulero made this clarion call to all the young persons in the kingdom while hosting a football competition in commemoration of the Easter festivities, the  football competition which was organized in collaboration with Micaden Entertainment, had its grand finale hosted on Monday, 9th April 2023, at UAMC Primary school, Ibese.

In his majesty’s royal remarks, Alayeluwa charged the youths to endeavor to put more interest in sporting activities, as a way of building talents in various sports and also to help boost the uniting spirit amongst all the villages under Ibese rulership, most especially in football. He added that “this way we can be able to secure more fulfilling future of stars in our youths.

“I hope our government at all levels will endeavor to catch young talents while hunting for gifted players that will make up our National team, we are indeed blessed with God given talents in our youths at local level who can make us more prouder than we are now.

“I must commend you all our players for making my day a great one as you showcase your talents on this field today and also every young persons here present, for your efforts in various areas of contributing to the progress and development of our beloved town, and I urge you to shun all acts of lawlessness, cultistism, cybercrime, drug abuse and all other form of obnoxious manners.

“I am presenting this trophies and cash prices to the winning team and runner up of today as a tip of the iceberg being the maiden edition, by God’s grace we’ll have more sponsors as we continue to host in the future.” Aboro assured.

While presenting the trophies to Team Isalẹ Ibese – The Winner and Team Oke Ibese – the runner up, Kabiesi reaffirmed his commitment to always put smiles on the faces of all his sons and daughters. “I will stop at nothing to always make that happen”. He concluded.
