OLOJO FESTIVAL: ABORO FELICITATE WITH OONI, PRAY FOR ACCEPTANCE OF SUPPLICATIONS AT SECLUSION

The Aboro of Ibese, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III, has felicitated with Arole Oodua, Olofin Adimula, Co-chairman, National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN), His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi – Ojaja II, CFR, and the entire Yorubas from across the world, on the occasion of the annual Olojo Festival 2023.

In his Royal statement the Aboro of Ibese described the Olojo Festival as one of the most glamorous and historic festivals in and the World millions of people from across the world and all spheres of life converge to share a glance of Yorubas rich cultural background. While on the symbolic exercise of seclusion in the course of this festivals, the Ooni reconnects with his forebears, offering prayers and supplications to all and sundry. The Olojo Festival is a celebration that unites tradition, culture, and spirituality.

It is therefore my honour to celebrate with His Imperial Majesty and the good people of the great Ife kingdom on this very special occasion and I pray that may God Almighty accept the supplications of our father the Arole Oodua while in seclusion for the success of our country Nigeria under the led administration of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Aboro further described the Royal strides of the Arole Oodua as an excellent traditional institution worthy of emulation with full innovative ideologies across different realms of affairs that has helped immensely in projecting the image of the Yoruba’s traditional, economic, tourism and social impact in projecting the good image of the Yoruba race.

Your Majesty, On behalf of myself and the good people of Ibese land, I wish you a healthy long life as you witness many of this joyous occasion that brings with it, good tidings and happiness to the entire Oduduwa descendants at home and across the world.
