
The Aboro of Ibese Land, in Yewa North Local Government, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Ilufemiloba Olokojobi III, has lauded the resolve of the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, to create more ministries in the State.
This applause was contained in a fresh statement issued by Kabiesi Aboro through the Palace Directorate of Media and Public Affairs in the early hours of Thursday, Oba Rotimi, who noted that Governor Abiodun’s decision disclosed during his meeting with Permanent Secretaries at the Executive Chamber of the Governor’s office, to create more ministries in was commendable.
He also said the move was an indication that the Governor recognizes the important and developmental roles that these new ministries will play in managing affairs of the state most especially in the aspect of eradicating poverty.
The statement further read in parts, “I know with with clear facts that Governor Abiodun is a man of high intellect and wisdom with his innovative ideas targeted at making life better for the people of our dear State. His latest moves on the creation of new Ministries is a very good one and I am happy that our State Government is on the verge of creating Ministry of Mineral Resources amongst these new ministries that are to be created.
Equally, the foremost Ogun monarch who also doubles as the traditional host to the largest Cement plant in Africa i.e Dangote Cement Plant, Ibese, also declared his full support to Governor Abiodun on this new project by noting that the Governor is indeed a visionary and deserves another commendation for his pledge to protect our God’s given resources in the state.
Oba Rotimi further stressed that “Making this happen will revive the hope and will repose the confidence of our people to appreciate and feel the socio-economic impact of their God’s given resources with the intervention of the State government on the corporate social responsibilities that are expected to be their returns, so for this reason we are solidly behind Mr Governor and we are looking forward to working closely with the Government to ensure the realisation of this great initiatives through the establishment of Government-Community Committee if need be.”
