ILARO ORONNA FESTIVAL 2023: ABORO OF IBESE ATTENDS, CONGRATULATES OLU OF ILARO

The city of Ilaro Yewa was agog on Saturday, 18th of November, 2023 as our highly revered Royal Father, Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero the Aboro of Ibese Land, joined other Royal fathers, top government functionaries and very important dignitaries across all works of life to celebrate with the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewa Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, Asade Agunloye IV, on the annual celebration of Oronna festival.

This year’s edition marks the 30th of it’s kind and it indeed marks the essence of showcasing the depth and beauty of the culture and traditional heritage embedded in the ancient Ilaro city. While also serving as an avenue to bring all sons and daughters of Ilaro from far and wide back home to spend quality time with friends and family.

“It is my utmost pleasure to be here at the grand finale of this year’s edition of the Oronna Festival and for me, It is a remarkable experience as the event also features the presentation of awards to worthy individuals and commissioning of a multipurpose hall felicitated by our distinguished Senator and Aremo of Yewa Land, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), the Senator representing the good people of Ogun West Senatorial District, and officially Commissioned by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Governor of Ogun State who is ably represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi.”

“I congratulate all sons and daughters of Ilaro, Yewa land and most especially His Royal Majesty, the Paramount Ruler and the Olu of Ilaro, for another successful delivery of his sacred duty that has been passed on to him by his forebears as the custodian of culture and traditions of Ilaro people, it is my prayer that may God grant Kabiesi long life and sound health to continue ruling prosperously on the throne of his forefathers.” Kabiesi Aboro concluded.
