His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Olokojobi III, the Aboro of Ibese land, has congratulated Hon. Olushola Samuel Akinbode, Ph.D, on triple joyful occasions, his election victory as the Executive Chairman, Yewa North Local Government, Birthday Anniversary and Doctorate Degree Convocation at the prestigious University of Ibadan.
Following the official announcement of Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), in the early hours of Sunday, that Dr. Olushola Samuel Akinbode has been duly elected as the Chairman-elect of Yewa North Local Government and his Vice, Hon. Joseph Olumide Ilori.
As a foremost Traditional Ruler in Ogun State, Oba Rotimi reiterate his confidence in the newly elected Chairman to perform diligently in line with the objectives bringing the dividends of democracy closer to the grassroots and good people in order improve the welfare of the entire citizenry of Yewa North.
Reacting to the new begining of a new dawn in Yewa North, Oba Rotimi Mulero in a statement while addressing the press at his residence, noted that the victory of Dr. Olushola Akinbode and all elected Councilors in Yewa North, most especially the Ibese ward Councillor, Hon. Julius Akinbiyi a very dear son of the soil, is well deserving and timely, and of course the affirmation that our people are eager to experience a better and more responsive local governance.
Oba Rotimi also noted while tasking the newly elected Chairman and Councillor to always remember Ibese Town in their developmental plans, he then reiterated the assurance of the readiness of traditional rulers to ensure members of their communities cooperate with the new government for better delivery of good governance.
