The Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, CON has congratulated our Highly Revered Royal Father, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Arole Asakanran, Olokojobi III, the Aboro of the Ancient Ibese Land, on the occasion of Asakanran Ibese Day 2024, scheduled to hold on Sunday, 8th December, 2024, at UAMC, Eleja Primary School, Ibese, Ogun state.
In his congratulatory message, the Executive Governor of Ogun State extend his warm greetings and heartfelt wishes and that of his family and Government of Ogun State to our beloved Royal father, Chiefs and all progenies of Ibese Land.
The flourishing land of Ibese will welcome home again, illustrious sons and daughters of the soil for this year’s Asakanran Ibese Day, tagged: Festival of Peace and Progress.
This occasion, which brings together indigenes, friends and well-wishers from near and far, is a celebration that has always been a cultural extravaganza, which remind the people of Ibese of their distinct origin. It is a time of unity, reflection and pride in the values that define the Ibese People. The Festival serves as a vital platform for fostering sense of belonging, encouraging community development, and showcasing the unique identity of this historical land.
He added “As Governor of Ogun State, it is my greatest pleasure to join the entire good people of Ibese in welcoming the guests to this auspicious occasion, while specially congratulating Kabiesi for being the rallying point and motivator of this great festival.”
However, on behalf of the entire good people of Ibese land, we quite appreciate our performing and friendly Governor for the show of love, and commitment to promoting culture and traditional values and ensuring our dear Gateway State becomes a sustainable tourism destination.
