ABORO IBESE COMMISERATES WITH GOV. ABIODUN, IPERU REMO ON DEMISE OF ALAPERU

The Aboro of Ibese Land, His Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, Arole Asakanran, Olokojobi III, has commiserated with the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Royal Family and people of Iperu Remo Kingdom, on the shocking demise of the Alaperu of Iperu, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeleke Adelakun Idowu-Basibo, who joined his ancestors on Thursday 6th February, 2025.

Oba Mulero in his personal message to Governor Abiodun described the loss of Alaperu of Iperu, as shocking and saddening loss that is not just for Iperu community but the entire traditional institution in Ogun State.

His message reads “Your Excellency, It was shocking and saddening to hear of the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu-Basibo, the Alaperu of Iperu. And I must say that this is a great loss, not just for Iperu community but also for the entire traditional institution in Ogun State.”

“It is in this light that myself and my family share in this grief. Hence, we hope your Excellency accepts our deepest heartfelt condolences, and all who mourn this great loss as we stand with the entire Iperu community in this difficult time. May the Almighty grant us all the fortitude to bear this loss.”

“We pray that as we mourn his passing, we also reflect on his life well spent, filled with impactful services dedicated to the wellbeing of his people. May his legacy remain everlasting and may his gentle soul rest in the blossom of the Almighty God.”
